Introduction
I’m a tried and true soccer fan, but don’t get me wrong my girlie side often overcomes my rational soccer side. With that being said I at times will pick a team based on…well how nice their players look. Oguchi Onyewu looks pretty good (great? awesome? amazing? all the above? yes!) in the AC Milan Away jersey! It’s sleek classic simple look will look great on anyone cheering for their favorite Italian team!
Fit
The jersey is really loose fitting so you may want to go a size smaller than what you normally wear. When I was first handed the jersey i thought i was given a large or extra large, but when i checked the tag it ended up being a medium. If you have the chance to try it on i would defiantly recommend it so that you don’t get stuck with a jersey you could go swimming in.
Look
I really like this jersey because i think on the field the team, not the jersey should make the statement. The simple mostly white jersey with black red and gold accents around the seam and shoulders looks really nice and clean. The bigger design features include the adidas symbol and the team crest on the upper chest. In the upper middle chest the team sponsor Fly Emirates is in red in the middle of the chest, I’ve never been a fan of the bold advertising but if the company pays there is really nothing you can do to get it off. The last thing that makes this jersey so clean and classic is the collar around the neck. At times a collar can make a jersey look little cheesey i think the position height and color gives a little old school flare that i really like!
Physical Attributes
The shirt is adidas special ClimaCool material, what’s really cool about this material is that it is a lightweight material that keeps you cool when you’re working hard or cheering on your team on! They have also added a mesh material that allows more air circulation to places that tend to be a sweatier than normal. It’s great for player and great for anyone who is sporting it knowing you will have good air flow through the material. Another great thing about the material is that it dries quickly so even as you’re sweating your shirt won’t get really heavy because it’s constantly drying even as you’re wearing it.
Overview
I can’t speak for other girls, but when I see someone in an AC Milan jersey I instantly like them a little more because i think of Onyewu. So i’m just saying the $70.00 price tag isn’t all that bad with the endless possibilities of this Jersey. Even with out connecting the Milan away Jersey to one of my favorite players, the sleek, clean, classic design makes this a really awesome jersey that any AC Milan fan should appreciate. Though the sizing is a little off that can be easily fixed by just making sure you try it on! You’ll look great supporting your team in the Away AC Milan jersey!!
