Home / Serie A / Lucio Kicks Stekelenburg in the Head, Knocks Him Unconscious

Poor Marten Skeletenburg went to go play this ball off the feet of Inter Milan jersey clad striker Lucio’s feet last weekend, dutifully sacrificing his safety for his club. Unfortunately, Lucio followed through on his shot, and caught the Roma keeper in the head, knocking him unconscious as you can see here.

Skeletenburg is expected to be back in action in a few weeks, but came off this challenge with a nasty concussion. For my part, I’m not sure if this was totally accidental, and Lucio has done dirty things in the past. Any thoughts?
