The bad boy of the Cincinnati Bengals didn’t start out as a football player, he started off playing soccer, and it was always his dream to play for a professional team. But in high school, all the good scholarships come through a football program, so Chad Ochocinco went the route that got him a place in college, and a career in the pros.
Now that there’s a lockout in the NFL, he’s picked up soccer again, and has secured a spot on the reserves of Sporting Kansas City, in the MLS. Now Ochocinco may never make the first team, but we sure are happy to find his name available on the back of a Sporting KC jersey at soccerpro.com. For my part I love the deep many of the away, but either one of the kits looks classy and is made by Adidas.
They feature the Climacool technology vented fabric along the sides and shoulders of the jersey, and it feel lightweight when you put it on. It fits well across the chest, and the under arms aren’t cut to low so you can raise your hands and still no show your stomach. Overall its a great shirt, and the Ochocinco soccer jersey is sure to reign in the collectible Hall of Fame with Micheal Jordan’s baseball kits. And for $94.99, its a pretty sweet deal for a nice jersey.
