Home / La Liga / Real Betis Win the Hard Way…Mallorca May Be Rich…Still Need Work(Video)

Sometimes everything is right, you make the perfect pass, go on the perfect run, and lob it in just right for the winger coming along the opposite side. Sometimes, you just can’t get the ball in the net like Ruben Castro, and the woodwork conspires to keep it out. Either way, he gets his goal 4 minutes from the end of the match, and Betis left the stadium with a victory, but how on earth did that first series of shots not go in.

And how bad do the defense at Mallorca look? This is the newly wealthy side that’s supposed to challenge Barca and Real Madrid for supremacy? I’m going to say a mid-table finish for them this season, they’ve got a long way to go…

  1. It’s actually Malaga that is now cash rich…Mallorca is owned by a past manager and Rafa Nadal…they actually declared bankruptcy last year and were kept out the the Europa league because of their financial situation…so, not so much money in Mallorca…a bottom half of the table finish is my thought…if only that hadn’t sold Samuel Eto’o in ’04 to Barcelona…
