The Portland Timbers were awarded their first penalty ever in the MLS last night, but they had to retake it several times before they finally buried it in the back of the net. The DC United keeper, Hamid, came off his line twice and made a fool of himself. The poor fellahs only 20, but there’s no excuse for this kind of carry on. It was truly a weird night for the men in Timbers jerseys….
