Home / International Soccer / Neymar’s Goal That Wasn’t, and a Stunning Rocket from The Same Match

Neymar maybe the hottest commodity in the world of soccer at the moment, but this goal probably isn’t his finest. My money is on him wearing a Manchester United jersey soon. On the reply its plain to see that the opposing player tipped it off his head, and the goalie’s failure to estimate its path correctly led to him fluffing it into the net.

The match was a geeat one overall with Santos going 3-0 up over Cerro Porteno before they mounted a stunning comeback on the back of Fabbro, my new favorite Paraguayan. This one is truly a rocket and the keeper has no chance as he bends it into the top corner. The reply shows his true genius as he nutmegs one defender and sneaks it past another before crushing the ball into the net. I can’t wait for more action for South America….
