Home / International Soccer / Mini Mundial Homeless World Cup Fundraising Tournament

One of my favorite soccer charities is the one that give the most back to players all over the world, the Homeless World Cup. We’ve just learned that this years Mini Mundial Homeless World Cup fundraising tournament will be held about our tournament and our efforts in sponsoring the poorest national teams to attend the Homeless World Cup this year which will be held in Paris, France in the month of August.
in Torrance, California on July 9th. Last years’ volunteers’ efforts helped to sponsor new teams for India and Haiti, allowing them to attend the 2010 Homeless World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This years “Mini Mundial” will be the largest fundraiser for the Homeless World Cup Foundation in the US and hopes to be able to do the same by sending the Haitian and Indian teams back to this years championship in Paris, France. There are four divisions, and players of both sexes and all ages are welcome.

If you can’t make the tournament and want to donate to the most worthy cause of fighting homelessness all over the world, please visit www.globalgiving.org and help them out however you can.

They’re also on Facebook, just follow this link to get involved.

I've played soccer since I could walk thanks to my father and love keeping up on all the latest gear and gab. I'm in my twenties, and I'm lucky enough to have found work in search marketing for a leading soccer retailer after completing my M.A. at Georgetown in 2008. My team is Liverpool, and national side is Ireland, but I've also got a passion for GAA and a number of sports. Feel free to give me a shout on Google+
