It seems all but certain that Brazilian legend Kaka will be giving up the Bernebau for the greener fields of the Emirates this summer as he is set to transfer to Arsenal on a player and cash deal for 25 million pounds. We’re not sure who the player other involved is, but Eboue, Chamakh, Carlos Vela, and Rosicky are said to have peaked Mourinho’s interest.
As reported by ESPN, Kaka’s mother, Simone Leite, has all but confirmed a deal has already been done after she wrote on her Twitter account: ”We are going to be in London next season where we will be preaching the word of God. We will be there from August – I can tell you.”
Kaka is an open field player, and I think he would be a natural fit for Arsene Wenger’s total football system. Kaka, a devoted Catholic, brought his family with him to Europe when he moved to AC Milan eight years ago, and wouldn’t leave them in Spain while he went to the EPL. With Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin on the way in, his days in the Spanish capital have are now numbered, and it seems out of form Arsenal are an ideal choice for him. Fabregas needs a partner in midfield, and Kaka would allow the men in Arsenal jerseys to strengthen a sagging midfield.
