Home / EPL / John O’Shea to Transfer to Sunderland

It’s easy to forget the big man at the back in the Manchester United jersey, but it looks like John O’Shea will be in the news again this week as he looks to exit United and move to Sunderland. It’s widely believed the transfer will be welcomed by both the player and the club as he frees up more money for transfers, and honestly isn’t indispensable.

He’ll feature more prominently in the line-up at Sunderland, and should have more freedom to move up on the attack and use his height in the box. Playing time is paramount for any player, and O’Shea just isn’t getting enough of it at United and this should be an excellent opportunity for him to shine on football’s greatest stage.

As for United, in all honesty they can sign another player just like O’Shea for less money, and the way the debts have been going at United Sir Alex needs every penny he can rub together. but still, O’Shea will be missed, but not for this particular shot, if you can call it that, best described by Soccer AM.
