Home / Champions League / Cleat Reveal: adidas adiPower Predator TRX FG – Champions League Edition

Our friend Sergio over at soccerpro.com has just let us know that the new Champions League Edition adidas adiPower Predators have just been released. I have to say, I’m not to sure about the purple color, but the Champions League decal on the back of the heel looks stunning.

These shoes feature the same technology as the other colors of adidas adipower, but have the added value of the being a limited edition. The toe box is still made from the Taurus leather, a type of softened and coated calf leather, which feels just like kangaroo leather and gives a great touch on the ball. It also has the adipower shooting element on the top of the boot which lets you get a hold of the ball better, putting more swerve on your shot. The insoles are also identical, and the shoe remains just as comfortable. They also fit true to size, so if you wear a 9 in another adidas shoe, you’ll want a size 9 in these too.

The cleats are housed on the adidas Sprint frame, which uses a new stud shape plus geometric learning to provide decent traction on firm ground surfaces, and they work pretty well in the wet too. Its also features the Predator Powerspine which lets you transfer more energy from your foot to the ball when shooting. It also help the shoe come up off the ground to meet your foot on the run your won’t get stuck or bogged down in wetter conditions.

Overall, they’re a great pair of soccer shoes, and the color scheme is certain to turn heads. You can order them off soccerpro.com right now for $199.99, and they ship out on the 9th of September.
