Second string keeper Quillan Roberts, who was only playing for Canada after first-choice stopper Maxime Crepeau was injured by a rough tackle against Uruguay in the previous game, managed to pull it out of the hat for his side as they drew with the England U-17 squad. By all accounts, the English dominated the match, but much like the senior England jersey clad team gave up a stupid goal late and left Canada in a position to equalize. So with 4 minutes in regulation left, Quillan Roberts stepped up to take a long free kick from inside his own half and went for a long ball into the box. He was rewarded with a goal as the ball bounced over everyone including the keeper and came to rest in the back of the English net.

Truly a fluke of a goal….but I love to see a keeper score…
