Eric Hassli is one of my favorite, and in my opinion most underrated, players in the MLS, this goal shows why. Hassli pops the ball up and around the other player out of nowhere and then crushes it in to the opposite corner in a display of creativity that all to rare in a league marked by rigid tactics and bit part players. The men in Whitecaps jerseys have a style of football about them and a fan following only matched by Toronto and it maybe that it takes an infusion of Canadian soccer flair to make the MLS work. Either way, what a goal!
