Home / EPL / BBC Radio Assemble Footballer Band

The presenter of BBC Radio 5 recently decided to put together a band made up entirely of footballers, perhaps he was inspired by Wayne Rooney’s recent karaoke session, who knows. Anyway, their effort isn’t half bad, and here’s the line up:

Florent Malouda on drums in a Chelsea jersey,
Neil Danns on egg shaker,
Gareth ‘Wild Thing’ Ainsworth on lead vocals,
Alexi Lalas on guitar,
Paul McVeigh on piano,
Dion Dublin playing his trumpet,
Nobby Solano on trumpet,
Jermaine Defoe and Michael Dawson on triangle.
