Let’s be honest, all of the best soccer players ever to grace the field in some way or another resemble an internet meme. For Paul Gascoinge and Cristiano Ronaldo, its a LOL Cat.
Paul Gascoigne
Ah…Paul Gascoigne…one of the true greats of the late 80’s and early 90’s sadly laid low by ending his career and getting bored. There was always something of about Gascoigne, but the game was his whole life and kept him sane. Without he devolved into the man who showed up to a police standoff with a crazy person carrying a bucket of KFC and six cans of cider saying he was going to talk it out. At this stage, its clear Paul found the pills….and ate them.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo may be cocky, but he’s deadly good on the soccer pitch and honestly I think he has a good heart. He gave that poor fan he hit with the ball and injured a soccer jersey a few weeks ago, treats his family well, and generally seems OK. That said, he’s super competitive, and I can’t see him ever sharing his answers with anyone in class…
