Home / Product Reviews / Adidas Predator LZ TRX FG Soccer Cleats Review – Bright Blue with Running White and Infrared

Xabi Alonso, David Beckham, and Nani all have been wearing the new Adidas Predator LZ cleats and they look great. Adidas has completely redesigned the Predator line and the new style not only looks great but also has lethal zones to help give you the best touch on the ball. The new Predator LZ’s come in many colors but today we are going to focus on the blue, white, and infrared color scheme.

Style

As I mentioned above, these cleats are predominantly blue with infrared to highlight the five lethal zones on the cleat. These lethal zones give great control for dribbling and your first touch, better accuracy for driving and passing and a sweet spot. These Predator’s feature a very soft synthetic upper that gives you the best of both leather and synthetic materials. As with most Adidas cleats that have been coming out, these Predator’s feature a sprintframe that helps give great traction while maintaining their lightweight of 7.9 ounces. These cleats are also miCoach compatible to help you keep stats on the field and compare with others.

Feel

These cleats are extremely comfortable in addition to looking great. They feature a pre-molded EVA sockliner to help provide great comfort. They also have anti-slip EVA inserts on the back of the cleat. The lining of these cleats is nubuck-touch heel lining to give even more comfort. As you can sense by now, these cleats are extremely comfortable so all you have to focus on during practice and games is what you are doing on the field instead of worrying about pain and blisters. These cleats run true to size but, if you are still unsure, SoccerPro.com offers a feature on their website called shoefitr. Shoefitr compares the cleats you currently have with the cleats you are planning to buy to give you a better sense of how the cleats run.

Overall

The Adidas Predator LZ is one of the best cleats on the market right now. There is a reason so many famous players are switching over to the LZ’s. They are comfortable, look great, and the five lethal zones help give you great touch and accuracy. These are currently available on SoccerPro.com, so check them out today.
