Home / EPL / Umbro Manchester City Away Jersey 2012/13 Review

Last week we brought you a review of the Manchester City home jersey. Today, we are going to take a look at the new Umbro Manchester City away jersey that the English Premier League champions will be wearing during the upcoming season.

The new away jersey that City will be wearing gets rid of the red and black striped jersey they wore last season, and that is a good thing. Instead, the team will be wearing a solid maroon jersey. This jersey still has vertical stripes, but they are much more subtle and are still maroon. The accent color on this jersey is a yellowish-gold color and is featured on the Umbro logo as well as the Etihad Airways sponsor that is pressed on the center of the jersey. On the home jersey, the Manchester City crest is black, however, the away jersey features baby blue on the crest to tie in the club’s colors.

This jersey not only looks great, but also is comfortable. It is made of 100 percent polyester to make it both soft and lightweight and features stretch sleeves for added comfort. Unlike the home jersey, the away jersey does not feature a collar. Instead, it has a V-neck that looks classy and is very comfortable, so it will not irritate you while you are wearing it.

This jersey has a sleek style and the maroon and yellow/gold color combination looks great together. Umbro always make very comfortable and soft jerseys, and this one is no exception. It is also lightweight so you will remain comfortable as you cheer Manchester City on as they look to win the EPL again as well as the Champions League. This jersey is currently available at SoccerPro.com, so check it out today.
