Home / EPL / Revealed: Nike Arsenal Away Jersey 2012/13

Even with all the uncertainty around whether Robin Van Persie will stay or leave Arsenal, there are still some reasons to be happy if you are an Arsenal fan. Nike have produced two great looking Arsenal jerseys for the upcoming Premier League season and today we are going to take a look at the Nike Arsenal away jersey.

Style

This away jersey looks a lot different than previous Arsenal away jerseys. The jersey features purple and black horizontal stripes that look very sharp. The sleeve cuffs both feature red to tie the away jersey back to Arsenal’s traditional colors. All these colors combine very nicely with each other to give a great looking end product. To give this jersey added authenticity, the Arsenal crest is stitched on the left chest with the Nike swoosh stitched on the right chest. Fly Emirates remains the team’s sponsor and it is pressed in the center of the jersey. One final nice detail about this jersey is the AFC pressed on to the back of the neck so everyone can see where your loyalty stands.

Feel

This jersey is made of 100 percent polyester that makes it both light and comfortable. It also features Nike Dri-Fit technology, which helps keep you dry and comfortable as you cheer on your favorite team. This jersey runs true to size so you will not need to worry about weird sizing issues when ordering online.

Overall

This jersey definitely provides a different look for Arsenal. The purple and black striped jersey will look great on new signings Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud as they look to help Arsenal win trophies. This jersey is currently available on SoccerPro.com, so head there and pick one up today so you have it in time for the beginning of the Premier League season.
