One of the most popular soccer shoes this season that won’t break the bank is the the Nike Mercurial Glide III, and Lindsay is here to give you a run down on what makes these shoes special. The Nike Mercurial Glide III is designed to be a workhorse of a shoe that will work for any player from the topflight of the EPL down to the local rec league player. These particular Mercurial Glides feature a sweet seaweed and volt colorway with silo-based decals on the back of the heel. The Teijin synthetic leather upper on the boots offers great touch and light weight so no matter how hard you play you won’t fee like your boots are slowing you down.

Remeber, you’ll need to wear these shoes in at least two practices to break them in and make them fit perfectly. Once you do they’ll be comfortable and offer a unique fit that make you mourn the day you finally have to get a new pair. The sockliners also offer decent comfort, and the bladed cleats will also work well on any surface. One caveat, watch out when you’re playing on turf as these firm ground soccer shoes aren’t meant for the heat and abrasion artificial grass delivers. If you are playing mostly on turf, you’ll want to pick up the Nike Mercurial Victory TF which are designed for turf surfaces. At only $89.99 you can’t go wrong with this sharp pair of Mercurial strikers’ boots, and make sure you check them out at SoccerPro.com.
