The new Nike Barcelona 2011/12 away jersey has just been released and this all black kit is something special. Barca are known for there outlandish, brightly colored away jerseys, and I for one am sorry to see those go. But if they have to go, at least I get this blacked out jersey as the send off piece.
The shirt itself is made by Nike, and features the same Dri-Fit material that you see on all off their soccer jerseys. This fabric helps to wick moisture away from your skin, and helps to keep you cool, which is essential in a black colored shirt. This shirt has the Nike swoosh embroidered on the right breast, and the Barcelona crest on the opposite side. The gold color they’ve used for the swoosh and the crest and sponsor logo also stands out against the black background and look good. Now the UNICEF is actually the wrong image, it has the Qatari Foundation logo on it, but it still looks good.
Overall, I love this new kit, and like the new look of the black jersey, and can;t wait to see them on the pitch at Camp Nou. If you’re looking to get one for yourself check them out here on soccerpro.com
