Home / Soccer Fans / Milan Confirm Ronaldinho Will Leave The Club In January

According to Goal.com, Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has confirmed the 30-year-old Brazilian playmaker will be leaving the club in the upcoming January transfer season. Here are his words:

“We mutually agreed that Ronaldinho will leave Milan in January. Now he had no desire to train because he no longer felt he was a part of the project”
“Now he will return to Brazil and be sold. To who? Whoever offers the most money.”

It’s amazing to think how far down Ronaldinho has gone in just a few months time. Last season, he made 43 appearances for Milan, notching an impressive 15 goals and 17 assists and seeming to get his career back on track. However, with the firing of current Inter manager Leonardo, he has not been put into Milan’s plans, appearing just 4 times for Serie A leaders this campaign. Now, Ronnie will head back to his roots to likely see out the rest of his storied career, just like many Brazilian players before him. More to come once a confirmation of Ronaldinho’s new team comes along.
