So for the first time in over 80 years a goalie has scored from open play in La Liga. Dani Aranzubia, Deportivo’s keeper, has scored a spectacular header to keep his side out of the relegation zone. It’s not often you see something like this. But in that goalie jersey lurks a genius. No one covered him, and he had a free header, because if you saw the opposing sides keeper up for a header, who would you have cover him.
