Home / National Teams / Adidas Spain Away Jersey – 2012

Spain is the reigning European champions, having won the tournament in 2008. They are coming into the tournament without David Villa, one of their best strikers, but should still be considered one of the favorites to take home the title once again. One thing is certain though; Spain will have great looking jerseys to wear during Euro 2012, especially their away jersey. The new Adidas Spain away jersey is one of the best looking jerseys I have seen for the upcoming tournament.

Style

This jersey design is different than previous years. Although Spain tends to use blue as their away color, they don’t normally use baby blue. In my opinion, they should continue using the color even after the Euro’s because it looks terrific. The main color is baby blue with three navy stripes going down each sleeve as well as navy trim around the collar and sleeve cuffs. In addition to the navy accents mentioned above, this jersey features horizontal navy stripes that go diagonally across the chest similar the sash on United States jerseys . The colors go well with each other for a very pleasing end product. For added authenticity, the Spanish crest is stitched on the left chest with a single star above it. Another nice detail is the inside of the neck. It says “Campeones de Europa” with 1964 and 2008 to show the two times Spain won the tournament.

Feel

Not only does this jersey look great, it feels even better. Since summer is upon us, you don’t want a jersey that will be heavy and make you hot while wearing it. Luckily for you, this jersey features Adidas’ climacool technology to keep you cool and comfortable, even when the temperatures are high. This jersey also features mesh under the arms to allow your body to be able to breathe a little more. The good thing about this jersey is the fact that it runs pretty true to size, so you won’t have to worry about what size to order online.

Overall

Spain has won the last two international tournaments, Euro 2008 and the 2010 World Cup, and is looking to make it three out of three this summer. If you are a fan of Spain, I would head over to SoccerPro.com today and grab one of these jerseys before we run out. With a team as popular as Spain, these jerseys are going to be flying out of the warehouse, especially when the jersey looks as good as this does.
