Home / EPL / Adidas Chelsea Home Jersey Review 2012-2013

Just in time for the Champions League final, we have received the new Chelsea home jersey . This is one of the best designs Adidas has come out with for the club to wear in quite some time. The jersey with the red on the collar and last season’s jersey didn’t do much for me, however this kit looks awesome.

Style

Normally gold is the color used to distinguish champions of a particular league, however, last season Real Madrid broke this trend. They came into the season wearing white with gold accents and it ultimately led to them winning the league, so maybe it’s a good sign for Chelsea fans. Chelsea’s new jersey is royal blue with three gold stripes going down each arm as well as gold trim around the sleeve cuff. The Chelsea badge and Samsung logo are also gold to give the jersey a classy look.

Feel

Not only does this jersey look great, it also feels great. This jersey is made out of 100 percent polyester, so it is both durable and comfortable. You won’t have to worry about be weighed down in this either since it is very light. Along with being light, it features climacool that keeps you cool and comfortable. The combination of lightweight material and climacool technology will make this jersey comfortable to wear during the summer and during the Premier League season.

Overall

As I said above, this jersey is fantastic. It looks great, is light and comfortable and is already on sale at SoccerPro.com for $71.99. If you are a Chelsea fan, you should go on the site and order a jersey today to support your team this weekend as well as getting a head start on the next EPL season. Hopefully the gold can help Chelsea capture a title like it helped the men in Real Madrid jerseys capture the La Liga title this season.
