Manchester United has been extremely successful the past few seasons, winning the English Premier League four out of the last five seasons and making it to the Champions League final three out of the last four times while winning it once. They are starting strong in the Premier League once again but after coming away empty handed from their last two Champions League finals, they are hoping to win it this season to end the heartbreak. Style
This new jacket is classic Manchester United red while adding black and white in certain areas to incorporate all the teams’ colors. The Manchester United crest is stitched onto the left chest of the jacket for an authentic and durable look. As I said above, the jacket is primarily red but has two black stripes going down the sleeves. The cuffs of the sleeves and the waist are both elastic and have two sets of black and white stripes to accent the red. The back of the jacket has Manchester United screen pressed into the middle of the back so everyone can see who you support. This jacket is a cotton/polyester mix which makes it softer than some jackets that are 100% polyester. The neck is high on this jacket for an almost turtleneck feel when the jacket is fully zipped, however the collar is not stiff so it will not irritate you.
Feel
As I said previously, this soccer jacket is extremely comfortable and soft. The jacket fits very nicely and runs true to size in both height length as well as sleeve length. Even though this jacket is technically the lower end jacket, it still feels top notch and looks awesome.
Overall
This jacket is a wonderful addition for any Manchester United fan. The red jacket with black and white accents is one of the most visually appealing and somewhat different designs I have seen for a Manchester United jacket. Normally you will just end up getting a plain red jacket so seeing a little variety color wise is nice. This jacket is only $69.99 compared to other Manchester United jackets that are very similar that run for $84.99. Therefore, you can save money and still look great supporting the Red Devils on their quest for glory.
