Home / EPL / Adidas Liverpool Training Top – Silver

Liverpool has begun much stronger this season than in the previous season. Kenny Dalglish has a philosophy that the Liverpool players look to be buying into. Liverpool are ending their relationship with Adidas at the end of the season and switching to Warrior, however before they end their relationship, Adidas has come out with one last gem for the Liverpool faithful to wear while supporting their team. The new Adidas Liverpool training top combines great style and comfort to produce a great end product.

Style
This training top is predominantly dark gray with three silver stripes going down the sleeves and red under the arms. The three colors go wonderfully together for a very visually appealing design. The Liverpool crest is heat pressed onto the left chest but still looks very good even though it is not stitched on. The crest also is a different color from what Liverpool normally wears. This crest is silver to match the stripes on the sleeves to tie in the colors. The back of the jacket has the Adidas logo as well as Standard Chartered heat pressed onto the back for an authentic on-field look. The cuffs of the sleeves are elastic to give a snug feel and the waist has a draw string so you can tighten the waist of the jacket if you want to. Finally, under the arms is mesh for added breathability.

Fit
This top is extremely comfortable and breathable. It does fit tighter than most Adidas products do, so you may want to go a size up. The neck does zip up all the way but is still comfortable and not constricting. The training top is 100% polyester, so it will keep you warm and be very durable to help you wear it for seasons to come. As I said before, there is mesh under the arms so you will not get too hot while wearing this and it can be worn while you are training as well.

Overall
This Liverpool training top is a very nice product from Adidas. The gray is a nice look that helps get away from all the red that you already have. Also, if you are worried about what kind of products Warrior will put out when they take over the reins, I would snatch up the last of the Adidas Liverpool gear before it’s too late. At $69.99 this jacket is cheaper than most jerseys so it is a pretty good deal.
