Home / National Teams / adidas Germany Home Jersey – 2010

Germany has enjoyed a pretty successful spell in international football of late. Under Jürgen Klinsmann in 2006 they performed very well and continued to surprise people in the 2010 World Cup under the leadership of Joachim Low. They are hoping to continue that success into the Euro’s and next World Cup and keep building to the quality sides they have had recently. They will be taking the field in these classy Adidas jerseys to hopefully lead them to the Promised Land.

Style
These Adidas Germany jerseys stick to the classic, sleek look that Germany is accustomed to. The jersey is all white with the classic three black Adidas stripes down the sleeves. The Germany crest is stitched on to the upper left chest for a genuine on field look. The left side of the jersey has several white stripes going down it as well as a black, red, and gold stripe to represent the color of the German flag. The collar is black with gold trimming and fits well around the neck. It is not too tight so it will not be uncomfortable. As with most Adidas jerseys this one is climacool so it is very light and breathable with mesh under the armpits. The cuffs of the jersey are black with the red, gold, and black on the opposite side. Finally on the back of the neck it has “Deutscher Fussball-Bund” pressed on for a little added German flavor.

Fit
This jersey fits pretty true to size. It is made out of 100% polyester and is very lightweight and breathable. It is also very soft and has a good fit to it so you won’t be swimming in this jersey like some other Adidas jerseys on the market and with the mesh underarms and climacool technology you will not have to worry about getting too hot in this jersey either.

Overall
This is a quality jersey to go along with a quality team. There are not many teams that have been as consistent as Germany has in recent history, always reinventing the squad and surprising people. There are many great features about this jersey that I mentioned above and an overall attention to detail that makes this one of the best looking national team jerseys on the market. Also, right now it is marked down to $62.99 so it won’t break the bank for a quality jersey.
