This year, the Champions League final will be played in Munich, Germany. As with all major competitions, Adidas has a new ball for the Champions League matches and then for the final. The one problem is that the official ball costs $134.99. This is a little bit steep for a ball that is going to be used all the time. That is why Adidas has released the adidas Finale Munich Top Sportivo soccer ball. This ball is still really well made, while not breaking the bank.

Style
This ball is primarily white with star paneling for the Champions League. The stars consist of dark blue, light blue and yellow. It also features the Champions League logo along with Munich and the cup on the front of the ball. Unlike most soccer balls, this ball is seamless and threadless. Instead, it is thermally bonded to reduce water uptake. This ball is FIFA inspected for quality. This process involves inspection for circumference, weight, rebound and water absorption.

Overall
This ball, even though it is not the top version, is very good. It is thermally bonded to give a great touch and help with the water uptake. At $39.99, this ball is made very well. It can be used for either training or for matches. So if you are looking for a low-price quality ball that looks great, look no further. The Champions League graphics throughout help to make this look great while also performing great.

  1. It’s a very expensive match ball that you can use for 10 games maximum. The colloured stripes unglue after less than 8 games. I’m talking about amatorial synthetic turf use and no more than 1.5 hours / week.
After our appeal, adidas response was that we should have came sooner, not “after 2 months and a half since we had bought the ball ;)”.
