Home / MLS / adidas 2011-12 LA Galaxy 3rd Jersey Review

The LA Galaxy is looking to be rewarded for their great investment in the team. They have brought in David Beckham, Robbie Keane and have kept Landon Donovan and they are looking to win the MLS Cup on November 20 in front of their home crowd. In order to support the Galaxy as they look to win the MLS Cup, we have their third jersey in stock so you can wear it while you watch them hoist the trophy. This LA Galaxy jersey is one of the most stylish in the MLS to go with one of the most stylish teams.

This jersey consists of a very dark navy with three gold stripes going down the sleeves as well as their sponsor in gold to give a nice accent. The LA Galaxy crest is pressed on to the left chest in gold with the Adidas emblem pressed on the right chest. Their sponsor Herbalife is pressed on the middle with only the words being displayed so it maintains the subtlety of the jersey but also looks great with the gold writing in the center of the jersey. Another unique thing about this jersey is the fact that the MLS badge is displayed in all gold which no other jersey has. The badge is stitched on to the right arm to give an authentic look to the jersey just like on a pair of adidas Predator D5’s. Even though there is not much going on with this jersey that is out of the ordinary, the combination of navy and gold help maintain the elegant style that fans are sure to love.

Not only does this jersey look amazing, it also feels amazing. It is made of 100% polyester, but is extremely soft and comfortable. As with most Adidas jerseys, it also features the climacool technology. The climacool helps keep you cool and dry in all conditions. To accomplish this there are several mesh panels throughout the jersey to allow breathability to keep you comfortable. It also runs pretty true to size which is surprising for an Adidas jersey as they normally run a little big.

If you are an LA Galaxy fan, this jersey is a must have. It is by far the classiest jersey that any MLS team has to offer. The color combination is wonderful and looks much better, in my opinion, than their traditional away jersey. You will also love the comfort of this jersey. Even though this jersey is still full priced at $69.99, it is definitely worth it. Not only will you be able to support your favorite team you could also be supporting the best team in the MLS depending on the championship game.

  1. I’m definitely not an LA fan. But I have to admit it’s an attractive jersey.
