Michael Arroyo may be a big fish in the relatively small pol of Ecuadorean club soccer, but he put his skills on display on a big stage last night and I’d expect him to be moving on up to a European team soon. If he can play like he did last night in the Gold Cup, I might have to adjust my predictions to accommodate these guys. They played cohesively last night, and systematically took Canada apart in the middle of the pitch, and cut their defense to ribbons on the break.

What a beauty….
