Home / EPL / Cat Appears on Pitch at Anfield During Match…Livens Up Snoozefest

So yesterdays match between Spurs and Liverpool was not really worthy of note. The game ended in a draw, and their were no real moments of play that stuck out other than Luis Suarez return to the Liverpool jersey and his subsequent delivering of a ninja kick to the ribs of poor Scott Parker. However, a cat did manage to make a famous run from the half way line to Brad Friedel’s goal in what was one of the most threatening attacks the home side could muster. The cat was then captured by stewards and taken down the tunnel to be given to the RSPCA, but in his honor, we give you our favorite photos of soccer cats.
